Sarapiqui Kayak Tour

LEARN & EXPLORE: SARAPIQUÍ KAYAK EXPERIENCE

More than a kayak tour—this is your opportunity to learn, practice and explore one of Costa Rica’s beautiful tropical rivers.

The experience begins with a professional introduction to kayaking in a controlled environment. You will learn how to use the equipment, maintain a stable paddling position, move and turn the kayak, communicate with your guide and respond calmly if you capsize.

After practicing the fundamental skills, you will begin a guided journey along a beginner-friendly section of the Sarapiquí River. Paddle through the tropical rainforest, enjoy gentle currents and small waves, and look for monkeys, toucans, iguanas and other wildlife along the riverbanks.

Throughout the experience, your instructor remains close to provide guidance, improve your technique and help you build confidence. No previous kayaking experience is required, and the pace is adapted to each participant.
