Booking & Payment

• All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed via email or our booking platform
• Full payment or a deposit (if applicable) is required to secure your booking
• Prices are listed in USD and include any applicable taxes, equipment rental, and guide services unless otherwise stated.
   

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations within 48 hours may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
• Tours canceled by Jaguar Kayak Academy due to unsafe weather or river conditions will be fully refunded or rescheduled, depending on your preference.
   

Tour Participation Requirements

• Participants must be in good physical condition and comfortable in water.
• Minimum age to participate is typically 6 years, though this may vary by tour.
• By joining a tour, participants confirm they have no medical conditions that would impair their ability to kayak safely.
• Jaguar Kayak Academy reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
   
• Assumption of Risk
• River kayaking and Rafting is an adventure activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: falling into water, collisions, or unpredictable weather.
• By participating, you accept all risks and agree not to hold Jaguar Kayak Academy or its guides liable for injuries, accidents, or losses.
• A liability waiver must be signed by all participants before the tour begins.
   
• Safety & Equipment
• All participants must wear provided safety gear (helmet, flotation device) always.
• Our guides are certified in first aid and river rescue, and safety briefings are conducted before each tour.
• Any reckless or non-compliant behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
   

Personal Belongings

• We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items during the tour.
• We recommend leaving valuables behind or using waterproof protection for essential items (e.g., phones, cameras).
   
• Photos & Media Use
• We may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes.
• By participating, you grant Jaguar Kayak Academy the right to use these images unless you inform us otherwise in writing.
   

Changes to Itinerary

• Jaguar Kayak Academy reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to weather, river conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Alternative arrangements or full refunds will be provided when applicable.
   

Privacy Policy

• Your personal information is kept confidential and used solely for booking and communication purposes.
• We will never share your data with third parties without your consent.
