Sarapiquí • Pacuare • Naranjo • Savegre • Manuel Antonio From tropical rainforest and world-class whitewater to the Pacific Coast, experience Costa Rica through four incredible rivers. This trip is designed for first-time rafters, intermediate paddlers, experienced rafters and professional river guides. The river sections are selected according to the group’s experience, water levels and conditions. The trip can be run primarily on Class II–III whitewater, or more advanced Class III–V sections can be selected for experienced groups.
Day 1 – Arrival & Sarapiquí Airport pickup at SJO, private transfer to Sarapiquí and trip briefing. Day 2 – Sarapiquí River | Class I–IV Rafting section selected according to the group’s experience. Beginner-friendly and advanced options available. Day 3 – Pacuare River | Day 1 | Class II–III Begin a two-day rainforest rafting expedition and stay overnight at a riverside jungle lodge. Day 4 – Pacuare River | Day 2 | Class III–IV Continue through the Pacuare’s canyons and whitewater, then travel to the Pacific Coast. Day 5 – Naranjo River | Class I–V Choose the most appropriate section based on experience, water level and river conditions. Day 6 – Savegre River | Class II–III Scenic tropical rafting with rainforest, clear water and waterfalls. Day 7 – Manuel Antonio | Free Day Relax at the beach or enjoy optional activities such as surfing, the national park or a catamaran tour. Day 8 – Return to SJO Private transportation back to Juan Santamaría International Airport. River Levels Sarapiquí: Class I–IV Pacuare: Class II–IV Naranjo: Class I–V Savegre: Class II–III The trip is adapted to the group. Beginner and intermediate groups can stay mainly on Class II–III whitewater, while experienced rafters and guides can choose more challenging sections when conditions allow.
