Overview

Experience one of Costa Rica’s classic whitewater rivers on a private rafting adventure through the tropical rainforest of Sarapiquí. This experience is designed around your group, your experience level and the river conditions of the day. Choose from exciting Class III whitewater, step up to a more technical Class III–IV section, or spend a full day exploring more of the Sarapiquí River. With Jaguar Kayak Academy, this is more than a standard rafting tour. You’ll paddle with an experienced whitewater professional in a small private group, giving you more personal attention, flexibility and time on the river.     Location: Sarapiquí, Heredia, Costa Rica Duration: 3–7 hours depending on option Group Type: Private River Difficulty: Class II–IV Availability: Year-round by advance reservation Language: English / Spanish Experience: Beginner to advanced depending on selected section Minimum Age: Depends on river section and current water conditions Meeting Point: Sarapiquí – exact meeting location provided after booking Class III: Beginner-friendly with an adventurous attitude. Class III–IV: Good physical condition required. Previous rafting experience is recommended but may not always be required depending on river conditions. Full Day: Difficulty and river section are customized to the group.
